Dr. Syam Kandula

My self Dr. Syam Kandula. I have secured the Korean Research Fellowship (KRF) and working as a KRF Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Korea Institute of Science and Technology, Seoul. My research work is focusing on understanding of charge storage mechanism on various exposed facets using in-situ techniques. I carried out my second Postdoctoral Research at The University of Texas at Austin. I carried out my first postdoctoral research at Chonbuk National University, South Korea. My area of interest is energy conversion and energy storage using metal oxide/sulfide/phosphide with carbon derivatives and transition metal dichalcogenide core@shell, yolk@shell and multishell heteronanostructured materials. I have completed a Ph.D. in the Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee under the supervision of Prof. P. Jeevanandam and my thesis entitled "Synthesis of core-shell nanoparticles and studies on their properties and applications". I have published thirteen international papers and one book chapter; they have attracted a good number of citations. I have completed M.Sc. in Modern Methods of Chemical Analysis in the Department of Chemistry, National Institute of Technology Warangal. I have achieved 9.1 CGPA during my Master's degree. I have completed B.Sc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry) at Acharya Nagarjuna University, Nagarjuna Nagar and I have secured 88.7 %.
